Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know
that your labor is not in vain
in the Lord.

Dear Family
and Friends,
We have
enclosed with this letter a little card called, Making a
Difference, One Life At A Time! We hope that you will take
the time to read it. It is a wonderful illustration that
reminds us that what we do each day, whether it is “big” or
“little,” can be used by our Heavenly Father to bless and
encourage others. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you in
being an encouragement and blessing to us. We are thankful to
those who faithfully pray for us and who send us gifts of
support.
As we
consider the vast mission fields around the world, that are
“white already unto harvest” (John 4:35), the task before us
seems “impossible.” Millions upon millions of unreached people
live and die without having once heard the name of Jesus. And
yet, like the little boy on the beach who faithfully tosses one
more starfish back into the ocean waves, and tells the stranger
that “I made a difference to that one!” we, too, can find our
enablement from the Lord that “our labor is not vain in the
Lord” as we faithfully do our part in reaching others with
the Gospel.
We are
happy to tell you that a couple we knew during the Mission
training are busy teaching Gods Word to the Guanano tribal
people from South America. We would appreciate your prayers
that many Guanano people would come to know Jesus as their
Savior and grow in Him.
On the
home-front, we just had a Reception/Open House for our son,
Jeffrey, and his new bride, Stefanie, in which many of our New
Tribes Mission friends in the Sanford area attended. Jeffrey
and Stefanie have now been married for over a month and are very
happy together.
In closing,
we thank you once again for being such a wonderful blessing to
us.

Joyfully in His service,
