Dear
Friends and Family,
What a
wonderful blessing to have God’s precious Word in our own
language! We rejoice that many tribal New Testaments and
portions of the Old Testament are being worked on as we write
this letter to you.
Thank you
for allowing the Lord to use you, as part of the team of those
who are taking the Gospel to tribal people around the world
through the ministry of New Tribes Mission. We are encouraged
that the Lord has opened up the door for ministry in a country
in SE Asia. A team of missionaries is already studying language
in this country. Also, three of our Canadian missionaries just
recently did a survey on Baffin Island, which is located just to
the west of Greenland. Further survey work among the indigenous
Inuit Eskimos who live in many isolated coastal communities on
Baffin Island is planned in the near future.
We are
thankful to the Lord for those who support us financially each
month, making it possible for us to serve in our ministry
through New Tribes Mission.
What a blessing from you and from the Lord! Thank you for your
faithful prayers for us as well.
We seem to
be especially busy so far this summer in the Medical Plan office
and would greatly appreciate your prayers. The transition over
to the Medical Plan’s new PPO (Preferred Provider Organization)
network of medical providers, on of January 1st, has
not gone as smoothly as we would have liked and we have a lot of
extra work, but we know the Lord is faithful!
We pray
that you are encouraged in the Lord these days. Be assured of
our prayers for you. Have a wonderful summer!
