Praise and Prayer — The Work of NTM

Praise:

Daily, tribal people around the world are coming to know Jesus as their Savior, through the ministry of missionaries who serve with New Tribes Mission.

God’s Word is being translated into many different tribal languages at this very time. Tribal people who have never once had a Bible in their own language will soon be able to read God’s Word for the very first time.

Tribal churches are being established, as people put their trust in Jesus as their Savior and as God raises up Godly tribal elders to teach and shepherd these new believers.

Many tribal believers are reaching out to other tribes in their surrounding area, telling them about the Savior Who died for them.

Prayer:

For doors to remain open in countries where our fellow NTM missionaries are presently working.

For open doors into new areas in the world where the Light of the Gospel has never been taken.

That the Word of God would be well received in tribal villages where the Gospel is being shared for the very first time. Pray as the Spirit of God, through God’s Word, shines the Light of the Gospel into darkened hearts.

Pray as missionaries translate God’s Word into tribal languages. Bible translation is a long and tedious task, but through God’s Grace and strength, the task will get done as God’s people pray, give, and “roll up their sleeves” in obedience to His command to “Go ye into all of the world....”

Praise and Prayer — Our Ministry with NTM

Praise:

For God allowing us the privilege to serve Him in the NTM Medical Plan office. The Lord led us into NTM over 34 years ago and we are thankful to Him for allowing us to continue to serve Him. Please read “Our Love Story” which has been written as a testimony of God’s faithfulness and great love in our lives. Perhaps it will encourage and challenge you to keep pressing on in the Lord’s work.

Prayer:

For God’s grace and strength — we find ourselves to be very busy, in our responsibilities for the administration of the NTM Medical Plan/NTM Life Insurance/NTM Medical Emergency Evacuation Insurance/NTM Student Accident Insurance. Each day brings new and different challenges — all opportunities to trust Him.

For all of us who serve in our office. This ministry is a big job, very detailed and there is a LOT of work to be done each day. Our ministry is to serve our fellow NTM missionaries, as they take the Gospel to tribal people around the world.

Praise and Prayer — For Us and for Our Family

Praise:

For good health.

For God’s financial provision to us, through individual supporters and supporting churches — each who are special co-laborers in our ministry.

For our four children: Sarah, Timothy, Jeffrey and David, each who know and love the Lord.

Prayer:

For opportunities to share the Gospel with others in our community.

For Jeffrey and Stefanie, who were recently married April 26th. They are living here in Sanford, Florida. Jeffrey has now been with Palmer Electric for 6 years, as an Electrician in Orlando and Stefanie works as a CNA at a local health care facility.

Sarah, David, and our granddaughter, Kayla, will be moving to Odessa, Texas, where David has already begun a new job as a manager in the Family Dollar shipping/receiving warehouse. Sarah and David are expecting a baby in December.

For our son, Timothy, who is serving at Cherrydale Baptist Church in Arlington, VA, as their Technology and Facility Manager as well as having many other responsibilities in the church. Tim hosts our website, for which we are very thankful.

For our son, David, who continues to study as a fulltime student at UCF (University of Central Florida) as well as work fulltime at K&K Electric, here in Sanford. David developed and maintains our website, which we greatly appreciate.
