To every thing there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is
planted...
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
April 2005
Dear Faithful
Supporters and Co-laborers,
The headlines over the past few weeks
certainly have echoed the words found in Ecclesiastes, “To every
thing there is a season
A time to be born, and a time to die
”
Never have two little sentences in the well-known poem, been more timely
or true:
Only one life, twill soon be past.
Only whats done for Christ will last.
Thank you for your prayers and faithful
gifts of support for our ministry with New Tribes Mission. We truly
appreciate your partnership with us in the ministry of being involved in
taking the Gospel to tribal people around the world.
Some current prayer requests:
-
Linda McVey, our
faithful office co-worker, has been off work sick for over two weeks
with bronchitis. She will soon be having knee surgery and has told
us that she will be away from the office for at least 6-8 weeks.
-
A retired couple,
who volunteer in our office each week, will be traveling from April
to October. We will greatly miss them.
-
Our son, David,
just had all four of his wisdom teeth removed. At this time his
face looks like a “greedy little chipmunk”it is so very puffy and
he is in a lot of pain.
-
We would appreciate
your prayers that the Lord would raise up more co-laborers who would
be willing to invest their lives in a ministry that will last for
all eternity, as men and women, boys and girls, from every tribe,
tongue and nation come to know Jesus as their Savior.
Thank you for praying! One of our
faithful supporters has recently gone Home to be with the Lord. We will
greatly miss his prayers and gifts of support. We know that God is
faithful. Thank you again for your gifts. May the Lord richly bless
you, as you live for Him every day.
