Dear Friends
and Family,
April 26, 2008
was a very special day — the day our second son, Jeffrey, and
Stefanie (Janusz) were married and also the very day that Mom
and Dad Hansen celebrated their 67th Wedding
Anniversary. Jeffrey expressed it well in his speech during the
reception, “Grandma and Grandpa, you have set a ‘high bar’ for
us to follow and we thank you for your Godly example.”
It was
wonderful to be together with most of our family who came to the
wedding to share Jeffrey and Stefanie’s Wedding Day. It was
also good to meet many of the Janusz family and friends of both
of our families. Jeffrey and Stefanie will be living here in
Sanford, FL in the house that Jeffrey has purchased. We know
that Jeffrey and Stefanie would appreciate your prayers as well,
as they begin their life together.
From what we
have heard from our office, things went very well during our
time away. This was the very first time that we could be away
from the office at the end of a month, for at least six years.
We thank the Lord for His provision of co-laborers.
We thank those
who support of us in this ministry. Each gift is much
appreciated and we thank the Lord for enabling us, through His
people, to continue to serve with New Tribes Mission. We
continue to pray for you too.
Please pray for
open doors of opportunity to share the Gospel, as more NTM
missionaries head to the country of Mozambique, with a
population of 15.7 million people. Mozambique is located on the
east coast of Africa, and is just above South Africa. Several
families are already engaged in language and culture study and
Lord willing, will soon begin their ministry of sharing the
Gospel with various tribes such as the Yao, Maindos and Mwinke.
We appreciate
your prayers for us as a family. Thank you for your kind and
generous financial support of our ministry with New Tribes
Mission. Thank you for praying for all of our children, as well
as for Mom and Dad Hansen, who will both celebrate their 90th
birthdays this year.
May the Lord
