Friends and Family,
you had a joy-filled Christmas with your family. We had some
lovely times together as a family. We also had a lot going on
here in Sanford!
John and I
really thank you for all that you do for us; we truly appreciate
you and thank the Lord for you. Its a joy to be laborers
together with youwith Godin this ministry of reaching
tribal people, most of whom have not heard the message of
Salvation even once. It is this vision that keeps us so
enthused in this work, knowing that we all are part of the team
enabling people to be reached with the Gospel.
big joy during the end of December was that of our son, Jeffrey,
becoming engaged to a lovely Christian girl, Stefanie Janusz.
We have known Stefanie and her family for the entire time that
we have been with New Tribes Mission. Stefs father, Wally
Janusz, was led to the Lord by Tom Christensen, my first
husband, while he was still working at Illinois Bell Telephone
Co. before we were married, and before Tom came into the NTM
training out in Jersey Shore, PA. We have kept in touch with
this family, and they with us during all of these years. We are
excited, along with Jeff and Stef, about their wedding plans for
getting married in late spring of this year! We would
appreciate your prayers for all of us as we plan and prepare for
this wonderful occasion.

Tim, was able to be with us for Christmas and New Years, and we
enjoyed having him here. Tim arrived on Christmas morning at
the Orlando Airport. The same day, Jeffrey went to visit
friends of ours who were having their Christmas in Lake Buena
Vista, near the amusement parks. The Janusz family, including
Stefanie, was planning a vacation there for about a year. The
entire family came to visit us after Christmas, and stayed
our Medical Plan: We are continuing to work on our Policy
Booklet which needs to be printed and sent out to all of our New
Tribes Mission members as soon as we can get this accomplished.
We began using the new network as of January 1. There have been
many questions about this change, but we have been sending out
new information and new medical cards to our constituency.
Thank you for praying for a smooth transition.
wanted to write you before this, but it just hasnt been
possible. Stefanie stayed with us until Tuesday, January 8! We
had a wonderful time together. She flew back to
again for your kindness and faithful prayers and gifts of
support, too. We trust
you have a wonderful year in 2008.
